Caper thrilled us by earning Best Bred By Exhibitor Bitch at the 2004 Potomac Specialty.
The Potomac is the largest Labrador show in the world with an entry of 1000+ Labradors.
The company she was in are legands in the breed and we still can't believe that the judge picked Caper!
Caper earned her first points at the PSLRA Supported entry. She earned a four point major under judge Ms Patricia Brenner. The next day, another PSLRA supported entry, she was RWB to another four pt. major under Nancy Arbuckle, Hunt Club Labradors.
Caper winning Reserve Winners Bitch at the PSLRA supported entry (99 entered) under
respected breeder judge Nancy Arbuckle, Hunt Club.
Caper earned her second major at the Seattle Kennel Club shows under Mrs Barbara D Alderman. She took a trip to the tough California specialities with breeder Becky Jack, Nipntuck Labradors. At the back to back San Joaquin specialities Caper won a beautiful BBE class (25 gorgeous girls in this class) and Best Bred By Exhibitor under Carol Reynolds, Carromer Labradors. Her third major was earned under breeder judge Wendy McNaughten, Karzop Labradors at the PSLRA supported entry. In addition she has earned points under Susan Huntzinger, Riverlane Labradors and Judy Chambers, Ghoststone Labradors.
Due to family and time constraints Caper will probably never be given the chance to prove what a natural she is in the field. She loves to retrieve and is birdy as all get out. Caper has had some very nice litters for us, check out her kids Fidget, George , Marshmallow, Amos, Beatle & her youngest girl Scamper. Caper's last litter was sired by our boy Alibi, this wass a litter I had long wanted to do and I am very happy with my choice Scamper, a great girl to continue on with!
Caper is currently shopping for the perfect retirement home. Caper loves to retrieve and swim and is good with kids and dogs. If you are interested in an older dog who is well socialized, loves people and attention, is easy to travel with and wants to please drop me an email.
