Black puppies born May 4th

We have a wonderful litte of black puppies sired by Skyfire Cimarron On The Run and out of Harbortop Skyfire Oughta Be Tops. Link, the sire of these puppies was bred by us but is owned by Laura Steward of Cimarron Labradors. He's linebred on one of the breeds all time greats, Am/Int/Dutch/Lux CH Raintree Slippery When Wet JH CD. I bred to Brodie several years ago (ok, ten years ago) and LOVED what I got - beautiful, typy, sound Labradors with fabulous temperments. The mother of these puppies, Ubu, is a daughter of our chocolate boy Alibi, and out of Nina Mann's super girl Topper who is a daughter of CH Ruthless Blazing Brently MH CDX TDI. These puppies are certainly going to be great performance and conformation prospects.

This is Ubu's first litter and she surprised us by giving us a gazillion - well at least it seemed like a lot - black boys! We have one black girl, and nine black boys in this litter. Ubu is being a great mom and we are just as pleased as can be with these puppies :)
