Aurigan Mantle Low Profile at Skyfire

Pirelli at 14 mo.

Pirelli (named so because we got her instead of the tires I really "should" have gotten), is our newest member of Skyfire. Because we have cows and goats a herding dog is really a plus when it comes to handling the chores of moving the herd. We looked around, and researched a lot of different breeds before deciding to go with a Cardigan (yes, the Corgi with a tail).

Pirelli's sire is an english import quickly finished his championship. Her mother finished her AKC title in three days of showing with three five point majors at seven months of age - including winning the Southern California Regional Specialty and going Best in Sweeps at the National.

Pirelli on Jubal

I haven't been able to get any good pictures of Pirelli working the cows, goats or sheep (which she loves so much she quivers when she sees them) but pictured above is Pirelli taking a break on Jubal while we were working cows last month. We are hoping to have Pirelli ready for her herding titles soon.
